How to Replace a Door Latch Cable on a 2006 Ford F150
A door latch cable connects your door handle to the door latch. In this video, auto mechanic Mike Green will show you how to replace the door latch cable on a 2006 Ford F150. This procedure is the same for any 2004-2008 Ford F150.
You need to remove the door panel before replacing a door latch cable.
Tools needed for replacing a door latch cable:
5mm-10mm sockets, ratchet and extension.
Small flat blade screwdriver.
Putty knife and rag to protect paint.
T27 torx driver.
